Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
• Process cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas and kitchen spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with MICROS POS is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Starbucks coffee preparation is an asset.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
