Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Micros POS system, ensuring all guest requests are met.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills throughout service.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling procedures, including basic math for transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing exceptional guest services to enhance satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the kitchen environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• A team player who is willing to assist colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
