Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service throughout their visit. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain guest relations will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast system.
• Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining presentation standards.
• Handle transactions accurately, including processing payments
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely order fulfillment.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred.
• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing excellent service.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety protocols.
• Experience with Toast or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
