Server/Waiter

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Host/Server to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service throughout their visit. Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
• Provide menus and explain daily specials while answering any questions about the menu items.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Uphold high standards of customer service, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential qualities for this role.
