**Job Overview:** Central Jersey Equipment (CJE), a leading provider of John Deere, Stihl, and Honda equipment in New Jersey, is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our dedicated Service Department team. As a Service Writer at CJE, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer service experiences and supporting the operational efficiency of our service department. **Responsibilities:** - Perform various clerical duties, including answering phones, welcoming customers, and preparing necessary documentation. - Ensure timely communication through emails, invoices, reports, and other relevant correspondence. - Establish and maintain electronic filing systems for efficient data management. - Coordinate service order paperwork and collaborate with sales and parts departments as needed. - Maintain accurate records and reports to support departmental functions. - Manage data using spreadsheets and generate reports to aid decision-making processes. - Fulfill any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management. **Qualifications:** - Proficiency in computer operations with strong typing skills. - Experience with MS Office Suite and internet applications. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail in grammar and proofreading. - Customer-centric approach with a focus on ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. - Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. - Sound clerical abilities and basic knowledge of accounting principles. - Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and colleagues. - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - High School diploma or equivalent work experience required. - Reliable transportation for commuting to work locations. - Bilingual proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory.
