Service Advisor - Fitzpatrick's Mercedes-Benz Kildare

Fitzpatrick's Garage Group, celebrating over 75 years in business operate a number of car dealerships covering Counties Kildare, Laois, Carlow and Offaly and holding franchises for Hyundai, Leapmotor, MG, Opel, smart and Mercedes-Benz.

Fitzpatrick's Mercedes-Benz Kildare wish to recruit an additional Service Advisor to join our successful operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our aftersales team as we embark on a major expansion of our Mercedes-Benz operations.

Responsibilities will include;

• Assist in the day to day administration and management of our busy Service Department
• Dealing with customers in a courteous and professional manner, anticipating their needs and always exceeding their expectations
• Appointment bookings, Job scheduling and liaising with our customers and internal departments
• Preparation of Repair Estimates, final invoicing and processing and settlement of warranty claims
• Maintain product and technical knowledge across our range of passenger cars
• Job status monitoring and customer communication
• Work with our After-sales teams to ensure agreed targets and deadlines are met

The successful candidates will have;

• Previous experience in a Customer Service role is essential
• Be highly motivated and able to work on their own initiative
• Previous experience in the motor industry is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong Computer Skills including MS Office and experience with CDK/Kerridge would be advantageous
• Demonstrate a strong interest and knowledge of the motor industry
• Full, clean driving licence
