Service Advisor / Workshop Controller

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Service Advisor / Workshop Controller to join our busy independent workshop.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working in a garage or automotive environment who enjoys dealing with customers and keeping the workshop running efficiently.

The successful candidate will act as the link between our customers and the workshop team, ensuring repairs are explained clearly, jobs are managed efficiently, and customers receive outstanding service throughout their experience with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and discussing vehicle concerns.
• Preparing estimates/Invoices and explaining repair requirements.
• Liaising between customers and workshop staff.
• Scheduling workshop bookings and managing workflow.
• Updating customers on the progress of repairs.
• Ensuring all work is accurately recorded and invoiced.
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working in a garage or automotive environment.
• Good understanding of vehicle repairs and workshop procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good computer and administrative skills.
• Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
