Service Appointment Coordinator & Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic results oriented individual to join our team in our Business Development Center as a Service Appointment Coordinator.

The Appointment Coordinator position is critical to ensure maximum facility efficiency is obtained out of our busy service department. It is also a critical part of ensuring our guest experience is at the highest level. Our Business Development and Retention department's objective is to ensure the highest levels of customer retention, customer satisfaction, and revenue optimization by ensuring that all available technician time production is sold.

Roles and responsibilities:

Effectively book customer service appointments ensuring the proper times are allocated to the appointment to maximize sold technician time.

Coordinating customer care activities such as arranging loaner vehicles, updating customer profile information, keeping the customer profile up to date.

Ensuring effective communication between departments to ensure that all aspects of the customer service appointment are streamlined, this includes the parts department and the sales department.

Sell technician recommended services that the client would be due for as per the manufacturers maintenance menu or items that our technicians have recommended in prior service visits.

Perform outbound calls to generate appointments and business for the service department, this includes calling customers who are past due for service, due for first service visits, recalls, outstanding warranty items, pre-paid maintenance packages etc.

Perform promotional and marketing activities as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a high ability to deliver customer satisfaction and will have a mindset to deliver results.

Compensation is based off base hourly wage plus bonuses for additional shop time sold in service. No previous automotive experience required, just strong people and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Business development: 1 year (preferred)
