Work Hours- Automotive Technician

Closed Sunday

5 Days a Week- 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Saturdays are required

What You Bring to Brakes 4 Less as an Automotive Technician

  • Mechanically inclined with a strong desire to learn (Bonus: knowledge of brake components)
  • Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail (our customer’s safety is important to us)
  • Works well with different personalities and is a strong communicator
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Computer Proficiency

Responsibilities of an Automotive Technician

  • Test drove vehicles and set vehicles safely on the lifts
  • Thoroughly diagnose vehicle issues and recommend repairs based on results of the Brake 4 Less step-by-step Inspection Process
  • Efficiently complete the work specified on repair orders with the highest level of quality while following company standards
  • Shop safety is important to us; you will be expected to follow safety rules & processes without exception
  • Communicate directly with the Service Manager and Advisors so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
  • When required, test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Proactively maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area; see it, clean it
  • Accurately and clearly document services performed and hours worked
  • Request necessary parts needed for maintenance and repair
  • Participate in required training
  • Other duties as assigned
