Service Crew

Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Crew at our Japanese Omakase Restaurant. As a service staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests by delivering attentive and personalized service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and escorting them to their tables.
  • Presenting menus and explaining menu items, specials, and chef recommendations with enthusiasm and accuracy.
  • Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen staff.
  • Serving food and beverages promptly and courteously, following proper serving etiquette and presentation standards.
  • Monitoring guests' dining experiences to ensure satisfaction and promptly addressing any concerns or requests.
  • Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, refilling condiments, and restocking utensils.
  • Collaborating with other team members to provide seamless service and uphold a positive working environment.
  • Assisting in basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sushi rolls or preparing garnishes, under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Participating in training sessions and continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Passion for Japanese cuisine and culture, with a willingness to learn about Omakase dining traditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from senior staff.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
  • Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
