Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Service Lube Technician to join our construction service team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for equipment maintenance. This position provides an opportunity to develop skills in heavy equipment fleet repair and maintenance within a professional construction environment. The position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform routine equipment services efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, and basic equipment/fleet inspections
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to service equipment accurately
• Assist with fleet/equipment inspections to identify potential mechanical issues
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service vehicle and tools
• Support the service department by recommending additional maintenance or repair services when appropriate
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and employer policies
• Assist in inventory management of parts and supplies needed for routine services

Skills

• Construction equipment experience or mechanic experience preferred
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment/fleet systems and components
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Strong service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow crew members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during equipment/fleet servicing
• Knowledge of equipment/fleet repair procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic sales skills to recommend additional services when appropriate
• Air Brake (Q) Endorsement required

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
