Service Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership operations and possess excellent leadership skills. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and efficient workflow within the service team. The Service Manager will be responsible for managing service operations, enhancing sales opportunities, and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the service department to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Manage a team of technicians and service advisors, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Oversee service scheduling, ensuring timely completion of oil changes, tire services, auto body repairs, and other maintenance tasks.
• Conduct auto estimating for repairs and services to provide accurate quotes to customers.
• Implement upselling techniques to enhance sales of services such as shocks, struts, alignments, and additional repairs.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services rendered.
• Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies necessary for service operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and dealership policies.

Skills

• Proven experience in a dealership environment with knowledge of automotive services.
• Strong understanding of oil change procedures, tire services, shocks, struts, suspension systems, and auto body repair.
• Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively.
• Proficient in auto estimating processes to provide accurate assessments for customers.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $71,541.00 - $78,828.00 per year
