Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our dealership’s Service Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service team, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and department profitability. This role plays a vital part in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all service department personnel, including service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring all service work is completed on time and accurately.
  • Oversee scheduling, repair orders, work distribution, and customer communication.
  • Monitor and meet department goals, including revenue, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Develop and implement procedures for improving efficiency and profitability within the service department.
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and safety regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate service staff performance; handle staffing and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Handle customer escalations professionally, working to resolve concerns quickly and effectively.
  • Manage warranty claims, service contracts, and manufacturer relations.
  • Work closely with Parts and Sales departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role in a dealership setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, warranty procedures, and service management systems (e.g., CDK)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
