The position involves working independently and as a team, you will have the ability to engage with our customers to ensure a smooth and efficient service. Previous experience in service or aftersales in a car dealer’s role would be advantageous.

Service Manager Duties & Responsibilities

· Manage and coordinate service diary/appointments

· Translate customer reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete

· Coordinate mechanics and assign mechanics to work orders based on the diary

· Ensure that work provided to customers meets Nyhan Motors quality standards

· Point of escalation for customers and internal service queries

· Following up with customers when necessary

· Provide assistance on service reception where applicable

· Ensure invoicing and payment collection is completed each day and customer records are entered into computer database

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style

· A team player as well as being able to work independently

· Well organized, dedicated, reliable, and meticulous way of working together with resilience and flexibility

· Management/coordination of service jobs

· A self-starter capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing; Ability to take initiative in completing assigned work

· Friendly nature and well-groomed appearance coupled with a professional presence.

· Open and service-oriented thinking

· Project a friendly welcoming attitude to all staff and visitors

· Candidates should be looking for long term career within the company

· Fluent English

Desired experience for Service Manager includes:

· Prior experience working in the motor industry
