What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
- Develop and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
- Automate deployment, scaling, and system monitoring using scripting and tooling.
- Implement automated incident response and remediation processes.
- Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Datadog).
- Analyze system performance metrics to optimize and improve service reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams for scalability planning and capacity testing.
- Participate in on-call rotations and conduct post-incident reviews (PIRs).
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous process improvement and optimization.
About You | Mōu
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Systems, Software/Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Experience delivering projects in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages.
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Datadog).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with incident response and post-incident analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
