This position reports to

Service Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

As a Service Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the Service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on-site. Reporting to the Service Sales Manager, you will be playing a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions. Your Responsibilities: • Driving growth in sales for service offerings on electrical medium and low voltage system. • Preparing sales plans and quotation according to our service strategy and perform regular status reviews. • Understanding and learning customers’ needs and proactively resolving customer issues. • Achieving key sales targets together with service sales team, ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. • Updating installed base in ServIS (the approved service database) with the changes made at site. • Focusing on the entire service portfolio to secure profit for assigned business/product groups. • Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios. • Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM).

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Highly sales driven with at least 3-5 years of working experience in Engineering/Service Sales
  • Team player and being able to coordinate with the various team’s function
  • Hands on experience on Electrical Medium and Low Voltage system servicing
  • The ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
