Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our housekeeping team and participate in providing excellent service provision to our clientele.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional customer service and planning skills, and a comprehensive understanding of cleaning techniques, WHMIS, and health and safety. This role involves supervising staff, assisting with scheduling and providing direct service provision. Team leaders are responsible to ensure an outstanding experience for our customers and facilitate a strong culture of team work within the team. The Service team Leader will play a key role in team development, customer satisfaction and operational excellence to drive success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the service team to achieve excellent, consistent cleaning provision and deliver superior customer service.
- Oversee daily scheduling, coordination of supplies and equipment to staff, and inventory management.
- Assist to train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with established company policies and procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial record keeping.
- Assist in performance evaluations, and support team development initiatives.
- Maintain organizational standards through effective time management and communication skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in team leadership, in a housekeeping setting.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone and in person etiquette approach.
- Knowledge of best practices in cleaning and quality assurance.
- Current WHMIS certification
- Clear criminal background confirmed with a current police check.
- A valid Ontario driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
