Service Technician – Warman
Clark’s Supply & Service Inc. is looking to add a Service Technician to our team in Warman! The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in servicing high pressure pumps like pressure washers and hydrovacs, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for providing high-quality service to our customers. The Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of equipment to ensure safety, optimal performance, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong mechanical and technical skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently and independently. This position will communicate effectively with customers, maintain accurate service records, adhere to high safety standards, and support smooth on-site operations. The Service Technician plays a key role in identifying opportunities for service improvements, recommending upgrades, and helping to enhance the overall customer experience through expert technical guidance.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, part replacement, and equipment calibration.
- Ensure all repairs and services comply with company policies, safety regulations, and federal, provincial, and local codes.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Manage parts and inventory needed for service calls, ensuring availability and proper stock management.
- Communicate clearly with customers about identified issues, service options, and operational guidance.
- Educate customers on routine maintenance practices and basic troubleshooting techniques to prevent future issues.
- Confirm scope of work and appropriate product use with customers before proceeding.
- Ensure all completed work meets company standards and is thoroughly tested before customer sign-off.
- Maintain tools, instruments, and equipment in good working condition and ready for service.
- Assist with customer service tasks including invoicing, warranty documentation, and answering equipment-related inquiries.
- Participate in training sessions and assist with onboarding or mentoring of other staff.
- Support efficient scheduling, rescheduling, and communication of job statuses.
- Actively promote a culture of safety by following all safety procedures, identifying hazards, and addressing unsafe conditions immediately.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a related field.
- Strong technical/mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams including wiring.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Certification or formal training in small engine repair is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina for repairing and maintaining equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Valid drivers license is required.
