Job Summary: As a Field Service Technician, you’ll work with assigned customers to perform prompt and complete diagnostics, assessments, maintenance, and repairs of industrial equipment at their locations and in the service shop while making every effort to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair lift trucks and other identified products.
- Provide a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Perform warranty repairs and complete necessary documentation
- Assess additional repairs or maintenance needs and report findings
- Make timely repairs with minimal call-backs or rework
- Maintain work orders, PM sheets, and parts consumed
- Submit documentation in a timely manner, get the customer's signature, and communicate with the supervisor
- Maintain a clean work environment and return tools and parts to the proper place
- Be Safe in the Moment: Follow and promote safety initiatives.
Technician Requirements:
- Knowledge of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, fuel systems and/or charging systems are a plus.
- Technical background in construction and material handling equipment is a plus.
- Must have own tools. Tool purchase assistance provided.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Present a professional image in appearance and preparation.
Working Conditions: Hours will be 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Steel toed work boots are mandatory.
