JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled ServiceNow Test Business Analyst / Test Engineer to support the end-to-end testing lifecycle of ServiceNow applications and modules. This role will focus on analyzing business requirements, defining test strategies, executing test cases, and ensuring high-quality delivery within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow testing, particularly using Automated Test Framework (ATF), and a strong understanding of the platform’s capabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers to understand ServiceNow requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases specifically for ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, ITAM).
  • Utilize ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and other testing tools to streamline regression and functional testing.
  • Perform defect tracking, root cause analysis, and collaborate with ServiceNow development teams to resolve issues.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test scripts, coordinating sessions, and documenting results.
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards, processes, and ServiceNow best practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Provide clear test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in ServiceNow testing and quality assurance practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer, QA Analyst, or Business Analyst with ServiceNow testing responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and test automation practices.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
