Job Description


Job purpose:

Responsible for the payment and clearing business.

Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Inward and Outward Remittance Operation, send and receive SWIFT messages.
  • Treasury deal settlement for FX, MM and derivatives such as IRS, Depo, etc.
  • Central Counterparty Clearing in LCH.
  • Assists Manager with NOSTRO account management and reconciliation.
  • Finishing MiFID reports and reconciliation.
  • Correspondent clearing.
  • SWIFT distribution, including ISO 20022 format.
  • Inquiry and reply via SWIFT.
  • Performs other office multiple affairs as may be assigned by the clearing supervisor/unit manager.


Qualifications


Profile (Technical Skills):

  • In-depth knowledge of office software (Word/Excel/ PowerPoint)
  • Strong inter-personal skills, good analytical skills to analyze, interpret, resolve and change.
  • Previous experience on loan settlement would be considered in priority.
  • Database management and analysis, good at Access or Python.

Education:

  • Bachelor/ Master Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business Related Studies

Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience of treasure settlement or correspondent clearing business.
  • Central Counterparty Clearing experience will be an advantage.

Language skills:

  • Fluency in English and Chinese; other languages will be an advantage.
