Job description
Caledonia Industrial Pty Ltd has a number of current and future exciting projects and as a result are seeking Sheet Metal Workers for multiple regional and shutdown locations including Perth, Adelaide, Queensland and NSW. With opportunities for O/Time available throughout 2025!!!
Caledonia is a modern industrial services company serving the industrial, mining, energy, domestic and commercial construction sectors.
We are currently engaged in many high-profile major project works and are contracted to some of the largest players in the energy, industrial and construction sectors.
Only suitable skilled and committed sheet Metal Workers with a minimum of 2 years' experience and the relevant High Risk Work License will be considered.
Duties Include:
- Erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding as per Australian Standards and job specifications
- Completion of risk assessments before each task and where the scope of work has changed
- Creation and compliance with JHA's/SWMS
- Check levels in scaffolding structures
- Participate in and contribute to daily pre-starts, weekly tool box meetings and other health and safety initiatives and training
Mandatory skills and experience:
· At least 2-3 years' work experience (post-apprenticeship), preferably within the heavy industry, oil and gas or mining sectors
· Relevant Trade Qualification - Light Fabrication (for SMWs)
· Current Working at Heights
· Current Confined Space Entry
· A strong commitment to working safety above all else
· An eye for detail and commitment to quality
· A good attitude and team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
