Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness are maintained.
• Lead and motivate team members by providing clear direction, coaching, and ongoing training to enhance their skills in food preparation, customer service, and food handling.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions with integrity.
• Supervise food production processes including cooking, food safety protocols, inventory control, and food presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
• Monitor inventory levels regularly; place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with interviewing potential team members, conducting staff training sessions, and supporting management in scheduling shifts and managing budgets.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience that encourages repeat visits.
• Support kitchen management by supervising food preparation activities and ensuring compliance with culinary standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within quick service or casual dining restaurants.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations.
• Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong background in inventory control, cash handling, and food safety practices.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising restaurant operations.
• Familiarity with hospitality management principles including customer service excellence and restaurant workflow optimization.
• Previous experience in managing budgets, conducting interviews, and developing staff training programs is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
