Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team for one of our clients in Mississauga.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse. Your expertise will ensure that all products are accurately processed and distributed efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damages.
• Process outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are correctly labeled and documented.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and order pickers to facilitate the movement of goods.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill e-commerce orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes.
• Conduct basic math calculations for inventory management and shipping documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience of 4-5 years in shipping and receiving within a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of computer, especially, MS-Office.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in order picking and shipping tasks.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation purposes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
