The shipping & receiving clerk will prepare repair orders for shipment, complete all paperwork, obtain the best rate quotes, and ensure accuracy of the order to ship. Duties include but are not limited to, receiving in, storing, and distributing all deliveries, as well as stock and restock items in their proper locations as needed. Employee will ensure the accuracy of the shipment. Safety, organizational and housekeeping responsibilities are encompassed in the position. The employee will also follow all rules and procedures pertaining to this job as outlined in the training program. This position will be part-time, Monday through Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm (hours can change due to business need)
Job Description
- Stock Room/Inventory Clerk
- Review requisition orders for accuracy and verify that materials, equipment and stock are not available from current inventories.
- Monitor inventory levels as materials, equipment and stock are issued, transferred within an establishment or sold to the public using manual or computer inventory systems.
- Prepare requisition orders to replenish materials, equipment and stock.
- Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdates stock.
- Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.
- Inspect raw materials upon receiving.
- Prepare corresponding documentation for inventory purposes.
- Inspect instruments and their use and calibration procedures.
- Provides hands on assistance in S&R as needed.
- Examines shipment contents and compares with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
- Enters shipping information into computer, maintain work order & shipping logs.
- Checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and quality of order; verifies items received with purchase order.
- Receives, reviews paperwork for accuracy & tags incomings materials & supplies; stocks shelve(s) and rotates inventory; may receive, store, and ship flammable, explosive or caustic and hazardous material.
- Process incoming component docs & coordinate with CSR.
- Parts receiving, data entry in ERP system & handle RMA’s.
- Coordinate tool calibrations with QA Manager.
- Clean and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2-3 years' experience in shipping and receiving
- Experience with handling, storing, and shipping materials or supplies
- Operating material handling equipment
- Accessing information on a computer; reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift; work in dusty and dirty conditions.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Moderate physical activity: ability to lift 70 lbs.
- Standing and/or walking for extended periods.
- Exposure to typical shop-floor conditions including dust, fumes, and noise.
The company is a supplier which abides by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As such, persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. Person under relevant ITAR regulations.
