Job Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory, and overseeing general warehouse operations. This role ensures all goods are received, stored, and shipped according to company procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and inspect for damage.
• Bin, count, and update inventory using manual and computer systems.
• Prepare customs documentation and other required shipping paperwork.
• Pack, verify, and arrange shipments via carriers and couriers; obtain quotes and select the most cost-effective and safe shipping method.
• Monitor and respond to emails; communicate with internal departments as needed.
• Follow common warehouse procedures and safely operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Assist other warehouse areas as required and perform general warehouse duties.

Skills/Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Basic computer proficiency (email, web browsers, and common software).
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Adaptability to changing tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong understanding of warehouse, shipping, and receiving procedures.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs safely.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift and pallet jacks (experience preferred).

Reports Directly To: Director of Operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
