Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Shipping & Assembly Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling products, preparing shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, experience with hand and power tools, and familiarity with warehouse or factory environments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the production process while developing valuable skills in manufacturing and logistics.
Duties
- Assemble products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to meet quality standards
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials and finished goods within the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Prepare items for shipment by packaging, labeling, and organizing products efficiently
- Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking parts and finished goods in the warehouse management system
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas
- Conduct quality checks during assembly and shipping processes to ensure product integrity
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or factory settings preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity of assembly line processes and use of hand tools and power tools
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is highly desirable; certification preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks as needed
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures
This role is essential for ensuring smooth production flow and timely delivery of products. We value team members who are reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills within the manufacturing industry.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
