Shipping Order Expeditor

Earth Grown KidDoughs is a rapidly growing Handcrafted Sensory Play Products company hiring for an Order Expeditor for our shipping department. We are looking for a dough-mazing new team member to help us stay organized and ahead of schedule with getting orders staged and out the door. Our team is a group of fun and relaxed, creative women who love what we do and love to get stuff done! Our working environment is a lot of fun with a supportive team and flexible hours to work with your schedule. There is no customer facing involved with this position. We are open to daytime or afternoon-evening hours for this position.

About this Position:

Our Order Expeditor is responsible for pulling and packing our retail and wholesale orders for shipment via USPS, UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments. During peak season when we are backordered on many items, this includes using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to maximize the number of orders we can get out in a day with current stock. Our ideal candidate enjoys a faster paced working environment, has a great eye for checking that all items in an order are present, and can quickly identify/fix any orders that are not complete before they go out the door. We have found that our most successful employees come from a Food Service background- such as food expediting, serving, or baristas! Clearing holds from the shelves is a bit like a puzzle on an everyday basis, so we really hope you like puzzles and creative problem solving.

We are happy to train willing candidates to learn the full shipping process and gain new skills

Daily Duties Include:

Packing Orders and Verifying the contents are correct.

Keeping Holds Organized and communicating holds to production team coordinator

Performing Order Splits and keeping them organized

Communicating Holds and Backorders with Shipping department

Schedule: We are looking for 32-40 hours per week. We are flexible on the exact hours, but ideally would like early morning-afternoon. Evening/weekend shifts are a possibility if preferred. Located in Central Vancouver near Vancouver Mall.

Physical Requirements: Can require lifting boxes of product up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: Starts $19 Hour, plus Paid Time Off/Sick Time, health dental and vision insurance and employee discount.
