Here’s where you come in

Broda is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our team. You will be working indoors with a great group of people, collaborating with team members in various departments. You’ll be involved in transporting material around our bright, clean warehouse, and helping to build products that make a real difference in people’s lives.

Your responsibilities would be

  • Work in compliance with company policies and procedures, with safety being top of mind at all times
  • Receive materials and organize items throughout factory in designated areas
  • Assemble accessories/kits for parts orders to ship
  • Pick and pack materials and orders
  • Collaborate with Assembly to ship correct products to meet deadlines
  • Unload and load trucks, sort and move materials using material handling devices
  • Prepare documents such as Bill of Lading, Commerce Invoices, Custom invoices, and shipping paperwork
  • Obtain quotes as needed for local or international shipment or containers
  • Determine ideal shipping methods for chairs or parts, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
  • Contacting carriers and representatives (drivers, account reps, dispatchers) to make arrangements for shipping. Establish, and maintain these strategic relationships to ensure an overall positive shipping experience to the customer

We are looking for someone who

  • Has good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Teams, Excel, Outlook)
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Can follow instructions from supervisors and leads
  • Has good hand eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs when needed (hand carts, pump trucks, dollies, and lift accessories provided)
  • Comfortable working with technology
  • Has great attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Able to stand, bend, squat for extended periods of time

Broda provides on the job training and continuous coaching in every department

It would be fantastic if you

  • Had previous experience in a warehouse or industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Have experience in Shipping/Receiving
  • Forklift License (onsite Broda specific training will be provided)

Pay: Range $19 – 22 to start, depending on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
