Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a warehouse associate with experience to participate in our warehouse operations. This position will be in our Shipping/Receiving Department. The warehouse associate responsibilities include verifying all shipments go to the correct locations, placing BOLs and Packing lists on correct boxes, keeping inventory and stock of your area including boxes and supplies, general cleanliness of your department bay, verifying outgoing shipments. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process warehouse products
• Load and unload trucks as they arrive
• Follow DOT regulations when loading trucks
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Must be able to reliably lift, move, and carry 20+lbs

Skills

• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker in a shipping capacity
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems a must
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• High school degree
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
