Job Opportunity: Experienced Shoe Repairer in the Multi-Service Industry

Are you a skilled and versatile individual in the shoe repair industry, seeking a dynamic role in a bustling main street shop? We are looking for an experienced professional who thrives in a multi-faceted environment and is dedicated to continuous skill enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in shoe repair and multi-service tasks.
• Adapt and learn new skills on the job, staying updated with industry trends.
• Exceptional English proficiency to communicate effectively with customers from diverse cultures and accents.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a friendly disposition.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient use of a leather sewing machine, particularly the Singer 29k range.
• Identify materials for bonding, utilizing various adhesives in conjunction with our stock offerings.
• Competence in appropriate stock management and inventory control.
• Familiarity and ease in operating a line finishing machine.

Additional Skills:

• Key cutting proficiency in cylinder, mortice, and dimple.
• Experience in engraving, bag and leather repair, luggage repair, and shoe making.
• Sales and customer engagement skills.
• Machine maintenance capabilities.

Work Schedule:

• Ideally, be prepared to work Tuesday to Saturday. 9 to 5 occasionally working and managing the shop alone on one of those days.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €28,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
