Apex is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service and support to the energy industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Shop and Yard Coordinator for our Red Deer County branch.

The Shop and Yard Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Cleaning, washing, and ensuring parts and the shop floor are organized
• Assisting in the repair and maintenance of pumps, tanks, and other equipment
• Picking up and delivering parts and equipment as needed
• Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of all equipment
• Operating a loader and forklift
• Cross training to gain skills in other areas including solids control and Wellsites
• Demonstrating a positive attitude toward safety
• Other duties as assigned

The desirable candidate will possess:

• A positive attitude and a desire to learn
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work both the shop and field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability and desire to perform physical labour
• Oilfield or rig experience is considered an asset
• A clean class 5 license and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
