MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER – MOBILE EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER - KITCHENER ON
DAY SHIFT 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday / 7:00am – 1:00pm Friday
As a Mechanical Assembler / Truck Body Builder, you will fit and assemble components according to blueprints and shop memos in order to assemble premium quality, purpose-built mobile document shredding equipment.
Since 2004, Alpine Shredders has been designing and building premium quality purpose built Mobile Shredding Trucks. With its rich history and innovative culture Alpine will continue to lead the market place giving shredding operations a real advantage over their competition.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Build, assembly truck bodies and equipment (mechanical & hydraulic)
- Measure, align, drill, bolt, screw and rivet components together using hand and power tools
- QA sign off of properly completed tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints of assemblies and components
REQUIREMENTS AND ASSETS
- Two years’ experience with mechanical equipment assembly
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic with good mechanical aptitude
- Organized, motivated team player with Integrity
- Good aptitude for learning (training provided)
- Must be able to assemble equipment using blue prints, shop notes & guidance from supervisor
- Motivated & willing to work on multiple stages of shred truck manufacturing
- Punctual and reliable
