Sign Solutions is one of Ireland's leading signage companies, with over 27 years' experience in the design, fabrication and nationwide installation of signage for businesses across all sectors.

Our fabrication facility is based in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, with our installation team fitting a wide variety of signage at client locations throughout Ireland.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced and capable Sign Fitter / Installer to join our team.

The main focus of this role is the professional installation of signage on-site, working on a wide variety of projects throughout Ireland.

The role will also involve some sign making, assembly and preparation of signage at our Arklow facility when required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing a wide range of interior and exterior signage, including shopfront signs, raised lettering and logos, illuminated and non-illuminated signage, wayfinding, plaques and panels
• Carrying out installations at ground level and at height, using ladders and access equipment/cherry pickers where required
• Working from drawings, measurements and installation instructions to ensure signage is fitted accurately, securely and to a high standard l Using hand and power tools safely and confidently while carrying out installations
• Travelling to client sites nationwide and representing Sign Solutions professionally on-site
• Assisting with some sign making, assembly and preparation at our Arklow fabrication facility when required
• Following all health and safety procedures both on-site and within our facility

What We're Looking

For Previous experience in sign fitting / signage installation is preferred. We would also welcome applications from candidates with a strong fitting, construction or relevant trade background who have the practical skills required for the role.

The successful candidate should have:

• Strong practical and fitting skills, with confidence using hand and power tools l
• Ability to work safely at ground level and at height, including from ladders and access equipment/cherry pickers
• Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a high standard of workmanship l Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional, reliable approach and good awareness of on-site health and safety
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate
• Full clean driving licence l Flexibility to travel to client sites nationwide Experience in sign making or signage fabrication would be an advantage but is not essential.
