Sapient Infra, a growing construction company based in Down Hill, Malappuram, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Site Engineer Trainee to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineering fresher or young professional to gain valuable hands-on experience in building construction and government civil construction projects in Ernakulam.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Engineer in supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities.
• Support the execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works.
• Verify site work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and BOQ requirements.
• Develop practical skills in reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
• Assist with site measurements, quantity calculations, material requirements, and related site activities.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and daily work progress under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in preparing daily progress reports, measurements, and project documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, supervisors, workers, and other project personnel.
• Support the implementation of quality and safety standards at the project site.
• Gain practical knowledge of government project procedures, measurements, documentation, and billing processes.
• Identify and report site issues to the Senior Engineer/Site Engineer and assist in implementing appropriate solutions.
• Gain comprehensive exposure to building construction activities from initial execution through project completion.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 0–1 year of experience; freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in construction, site execution, and civil engineering.
• Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• A strong willingness to learn and work in a construction-site environment.
• A responsible, hardworking, disciplined, and positive attitude.
• Willingness to work at project sites in Ernakulam.
