Here is a description of the role we are opening:
Responsibilities
  • Manage local IT Support Services and IT partners of your location
  • Collaborate with business/site leaders to implement actions defined by Global IT and the business.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Information’s Systems, Strategy, Policies and Service.
  • Propose frameworks, identify the gaps in order to build the IT governance policies and systems.
  • Formalize issues, follow up and escalation with operations / Information Systems
  • Contribute to incident and problem management
  • Liaise with local management to deal with major incidents / crisis management/ demands/ Services/ requests. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, understand their needs and challenges.
  • Identify needs for end user training / tutorials/ equipment’s/ IT Peripherals
  • Assist in preparation of budget and follow-up IT costs and manage local IT Hardware stocks
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders and engage with the right level of communication
  • Detail oriented and manage relationships with IT vendors and services providers, ensuring external solutions align with business needs and SLA (service level agreements)
Qualification
  • 10 years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in managerial position in a manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong experience in project management and ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment
  • Strong experience in IT infrastructure, network and incident management
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; fluency in Mandarin is a plus
