Project Location: New Zealand, Kaiwera Downs 2
Roster:3:1 or 5:2
- Maintain site safety to highest standards.
- Achieve contractual schedule
- Ensure achievement of highest quality levels on site.
- Provide clear direction for Vestas site management personnel.
- Maintain good working relationships with the customer, subcontractors, and any other stakeholders.
- Resourcing and staff management
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risk.
- Manage all site costs - site spend (subcontractor, resourcing, plant etc.), pre-calc, post-calc.
- Alignment with internal bid management and procurement departments as required
- Proven track record in site construction management - minimum of 5 years
- Experience in managing general site administrative directions and support.
- Intermediate IT skills, e.g. MS Office, MS Project user or key user.
- Wind Industry experience highly regarded.
- Experience in people management.
- Cost awareness and customer orientation.
- Managed teams in a major project portfolio environment.
- Developed and implementation of best practice systems and procedures.
- Managed sub-contractors in remote site locations e.g. crane, excavation, electrical, civil.
- Management and reporting of site scope budgetary requirements.
- Experience providing service with direct customer interface.
- Experience in high pressure situations in major construction management environments.
- Proactive and hands on approach toward role - involved and engaged.
- Self-starter and self-motivated
- Able to inspire others to action - team leader.
- Seeks and accepts responsibility.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Well organized and planning orientated.
- Able to prioritise and delegate.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
