Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Safety Coordinator to champion safety and compliance on our construction sites. In this vital role, you will oversee all safety protocols, ensure adherence to occupational health standards, and foster a culture of safety excellence. Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive site safety plans aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), OSHA standards, and other relevant regulations.
- Lead safety training sessions for workers, supervisors, and visitors to promote awareness of risk management strategies and safe work procedures.
- Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and coordinate workers' compensation claims to address workplace injuries effectively.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) policies into daily operations and project planning.
- Maintain accurate records using construction management software for safety inspections, incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to all legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, risk management, and compliance management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health principles, workers' compensation procedures, and EHS best practices.
- Familiarity with NEC electrical codes and construction management software tools used for safety tracking and reporting.
- Extensive construction site experience with the ability to identify hazards proactively and enforce safety protocols effectively.
- Strong communication skills to deliver engaging safety training sessions and collaborate with diverse teams on-site.
- Certification in OSHA 30-Hour or higher is preferred; additional certifications related to construction management or safety are a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
