Donald Contracting is looking for an experienced hands-on low rise residential Construction Site Supervisor to join our team.

Position Summary

Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of Residential Concrete and Drain construction work crews, maintaining productivity and safety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide daily supervision to both workers and subcontractors;

· Effectively resolve problems on site;

· Confidently communicate with all stakeholders, such as builders, workers, city officials, project managers and subcontractors, to maintain lasting and positive relationships;

· Ensure that all work is completed on time, with high quality standards, and on budget;

· Ensure Standards for safe working conditions are observed;

· Work cohesively with the office staff;

· Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies and procedures;

· Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Education and Experience

· Minimum 5 years of construction experience in a similar role;

· Experience working in a Concrete and Drain environment is as asset;

· High school diploma generally required;

· Completion of college, and/or other post secondary education is an asset;

· Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Working Conditions

· Typical office hours: Monday to Friday –6:00 am to 5:00 pm

· Occasional Saturdays required during peak business times

· Significant exposure to environmental conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
