As a Site Supervisor, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing the entire construction process, ensuring projects are executed with precision, adhering to safety standards, and delivering exceptional results. This role demands strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to proactively address challenges.

Here are some of the tasks you will be responsible for:
· Lead and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to completion
· Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project schedules and ensure their timely execution
· Supervise and inspire on-site construction teams, fostering a collaborative and safety-first culture, following the Ontario Health and safety Act (OSHA)
· Track and analyze project progress in contractor’s foreman daily, ensuring alignment with established timelines and goals
· Conduct thorough site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications in accordance with the Clément Homes Health and Safety policies, operating procedures and legislation
· Liaise with the authorities for inspections, permits, and approvals
· Proactively identify and address challenges, implementing effective solutions to maintain project continuity
· Conduct meticulous inspections at critical project milestones, maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports and inspection records and rectifying any deviations
· Provide strong leadership and mentorship to construction team members, cultivating a positive work environment
· Address personnel issues promptly, encouraging open communication and conflict resolution
To be successful in this position, you must have:
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction supervision
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or a degree in construction management is a plus
· Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and safety protocols
· Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset
· Familiarity with local building codes and regulations

· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
· Familiarity with inspection processes and requirements.
· Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans
· Familiarity with Contractor Foreman software is an asset.
