Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Building Labourer to join our small, dedicated team based in South Dublin. The successful candidate will have a solid background in residential construction, particularly in renovation, restoration, and extension projects.
You will work closely with skilled tradespeople on medium-sized residential contracts, assisting in all aspects of the build process — from groundwork and demolition to general site duties and finishing work. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting tradesmen with day-to-day site tasks and project setup
- Carrying out demolition, site preparation, and general labouring duties
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment safely
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Supporting renovation and extension works to a high standard
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential construction or renovation
- Proven ability to work on domestic extensions and refurbishments
- Good understanding of basic construction practices and tools
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
- Full work authorisation for Ireland (required)
