Job Title: Skilled Construction Operative

Location: Swann’s Cross, Rockcorry, Co Monaghan & Aclint, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan

Contract: Full-Time: Monday to Friday (8 hour day shift)

Reports To: Supervisor

Hourly Rate: €18.00 - €20.00 per hour

Weekly Hours: 40 hr week

Summary of Role:

The Skilled Construction Operative is responsible for carrying out a wide range of construction tasks to a high standard, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Carry out skilled construction duties including:

· Formwork and Concreting

· Window fitting

· General finishing works

· Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications

· Operate hand tools and power tools safely and correctly

· Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised

· Follow health & safety regulations, method statements, and risk assessments

· Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with supervisors and other trades

· Maintain high standards of workmanship and productivity

· Comply with company policies and site rules at all times

Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience

· Proven experience in a skilled construction role

· Good understanding of construction methods and materials

· Strong awareness of health & safety practices

· Ability to work from drawings and instructions

· Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

· Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal to effectively communicate with customers and internal team members.

· Ability to work effectively as a team and also work on own initiative, when required.

· Valid Visa to work in the EU.
