Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, including caulking, waterproofing, air barrier and the operation of heavy equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of reading blueprints and schematics to ensure precise execution of tasks.

Duties

• Perform general construction tasks such as caulking, waterproofing, installing air barrier, installing expansion joints.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project work
• Install building components with precision
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site work with a strong understanding of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and finishing techniques helpful
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution
• Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely
• Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project needs
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $36.65 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
