Job Summary

Modern Construction has been extensively serving the heavy civil construction industry for over 80 years. We pride ourselves in having rich history of roadbuilding, highway and municipal paving. We are currently seeking a skilled labourer and/or lead hand to join our company.

Location

Various job sites in southeastern New Brunswick, primarily in the greater moncton area.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing job sites. Setting up signage. Work with grading crew. Perform other duties as assigned.
• Miscellaneous tasks, such as working with power tools, small equipment, manual labour.
• Ability to work with others in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that tasks are completed properly.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols. Ensure safety of fellow employees.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Strong understanding of civil construction and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in a team environment, at times long hours are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and understand measurements.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
