Churchfield Home Services is seeking a Skilled Operative to join our external insulation team in the Mayo area.
You’ll play an important role in helping homeowners make their homes warmer, more comfortable, and energy-efficient — supporting Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon future, one project at a time.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and protect work areas before insulation or dry lining begins
• Install internal dry lining systems and external wall insulation (EWI) to SEAI standards
• Fit insulation boards, mechanical fixings, beads, and mesh reinforcement
• Carry out minor carpentry, patching, and finishing work where required
• Assist with cutting, measuring, and fitting insulation materials accurately
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised work areas
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures (Safe Pass, PPE, RAMS)
• Represent Churchfield professionally on-site and in occupied homes

What You’ll Need

• 1–2 years’ experience in dry lining, insulation, or general construction desirable
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
• Full clean driving licence
• Working at Heights or Abrasive Wheels certification desirable
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and finish
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to quality workmanship and safe working practices

Pay & Benefits

• €18–€21 per hour, depending on experience (weekly pay)
• Pension (CWPS) – includes Income Protection + €150,000 Death-in-Service
• Annual Leave: 20 days + 10 public holidays
