Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Perform measurements and calculations for accurate construction.
• Assemble furniture and cabinetry according to design specifications.
• Execute construction painting tasks to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Fabricate components for various projects including framing, flooring, and roofing.
• Conduct concrete forming for foundations and other structural elements.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers to ensure project completion.
• Estimate materials needed for projects and manage inventory effectively.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction or maintenance person services.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques.
• Ability to plumb accurately for installations.
• Experience with concrete forming processes.
• Familiarity with construction painting methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
