Foam Manufacturing Company looking for quality team members to join a rapidly growing organization.

Hours: Monday – Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm

This position is responsible for pulling and cutting foam products in the Slab & Drop department; while ensuring that safety, quality, and production goals are met.

Essential Functions

• Pull and cut foam blanks for all departments utilizing various machines and saws
• Physical and visual inspection of product to help prevent non-conforming goods
• Correctly report all quality defects to the Slab & Drop Department Lead
• Adhere to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Demonstrate the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas within the department
• Troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties when required
• Maintain general housekeeping of the department and additional areas assigned by plant leadership.

• Willing to take on any additional tasks that may be needed by management
• Have a strong grasp on, and be able to utilize efficiently, basic computer programs and software
• Be mechanically inclined

Qualifications

• Experience in Production / Manufacturing Field
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Forklift operating experience and/or certification (not required)
• Ability to work at a fast pace is a must

The Production Associate operates in the first stage of the production process within Foam Packaging Specialties' organization, and plays a pivotal role in the success of their peers. Attention to detail, attendance, a positive team spirit, and willingness to learn are all imperative in this position.
