Ayrton Group are seeking SLG's & Traffic Management Operatives to join our dynamic Traffic Management Team. We have multiple locations across Cork City on long term construction projects. Ability to get to site is essential - own transport an advantage.

Duties:

• Liaise with contractors, site foremen, and additional subcontractors on site to ensure the safe flow of traffic and the safety of pedestrians on site.
• Set up and maintain work zones according to TMP's.
• Assist with the loading & unloading of vehicles with equipment, traffic signs and cones on-site.
• Carry out Stop/Go systems, road closures and diversions, set up & operation of traffic light systems and pedestrian management.
• Operate two-way radios with a team of Traffic Management Operatives.
• Communicate effectively with members of the public and contractors alike.
• Ensure the safety of yourself, the workforce, public and any other person affected by your duties.
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• SLG Card required.
• Safe Pass Card required.
• Manual Handling Certificate required.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent communication and time keeping skills.
• Reliable and flexible with the ability to use own initiative.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time).
• Commitment to health and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €13.95-€20.64 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
