Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various hand and power tools, as well as a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while performing snow removal tasks.
Duties
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas of snow and ice.
- Maintain and inspect snow plow vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs and maintenance of the equipment.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including digging, building, and irrigating areas affected by snow removal operations.
- Follow safety protocols while working in adverse weather conditions.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage snow removal routes and schedules.
Experience
- Proven experience operating snow plow equipment or similar machinery is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

- Overtime pay
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Air Brake Endorsement (required)
