Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various hand and power tools, as well as a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while performing snow removal tasks.

Duties

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas of snow and ice.
• Maintain and inspect snow plow vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs and maintenance of the equipment.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including digging, building, and irrigating areas affected by snow removal operations.
• Follow safety protocols while working in adverse weather conditions.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage snow removal routes and schedules.

Experience

• Proven experience operating snow plow equipment or similar machinery is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
• Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Air Brake Endorsement (required)
