Job Overview
Treadstone Landscaping is hiring Winter Operators for our winter maintenance contracts. This position requires open availability and candidates must be available for around the work and on short notice. Contracts begin December 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow removal equipment, such as snow blowers, snow shovels, snowplows, salt spreaders
• Shovel, snowblower or use other hand tools to manually remove snow and ice from designated areas
• Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing agents to surfaces to improve traction and melt ice
• Be prepared to respond to emergency calls for snow removal, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions

Qualifications

On-Call availability, especially during evenings, weekends and holidays from December to March

Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Strong physical stamina to perform manual labour in cold weather conditions

Attention to safety protocols to prevent accidents during snow removal operations

Ability to operate snow removal equipment such as shovels, snow blowers and salt spreaders safely.

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract

Pay: $20-$35 per hour

Expected Hours: 10-40 hours per week
